Darawan Wilaingam

A handsome young man from Bangkok is sent to an upcountry town to try and stamp out corruption. He falls in love with the local beauty, the eldest of three sisters. However, the course of true love never runs smoothly, and the couple have many obstacles to overcome. Not least is the girl's shotgun toting, over-protective father who demands a dowry of one hundred million baht.

The small but extremely profitable plot of land in Bangkok called Yaowarat has so far been protected peacefully by mafia godfather Tong, with the faithful assistance of Saleng as his right-hand man. Meanwhile, the Pahurat area is controlled by another prominent gangster, Dada, and his close partner, Kaolad. The peaceful coexistence of the rival territories is shattered when these two underworld kingpins challenge each other for power.

A young man named Chob, is caught in bed with In-tu-orn, the daughter of a powerful and wealthy landowner who owns almost ever acre in northern Thailand by her father. He asks Chob to prove his love towards his daughter by taking a seven-day trip upcountry, attempting to quarrel with anyone he meets along the way. If Chob can complete this unusual mission he will grant his daughter's hand in marriage, along with half of his property.
