Let them be seen as they want to be seen; let them be heard through only their motions. Let them surf in climates warm and cold, on waves big and small, on boards long and short, in countries near and far. Let the camera capture what it can. Let there be Sight Sound. Kilroy is a Marine and his mission is to infiltrate a top secret stretch of secluded coastline in Central America. The land is wild, mysterious, and the waves are perfect. Kilroy is looking for intelligence on a global commando syndicate rumored to be controlling this forbidden coastline. He flies an attack helicopter, battles wild animals, and uses a group of surfers to help complete his objectives. He also encounters a mystical guru that sends him on a bizarre vision quest. What starts as a clear cut mission turns into a strange and comedic surf adventure through a dangerous jungle. When the sinister plan of the Caldera Network is exposed, Kilroy must make a life changing choice.

Harrison Roach and Zye Norris pack their bags, a diverse quiver of boards, two bikes and a 50‐dollar tent into a 1970s Land Rover and embark on an epic quest from the southern reaches of Bali, through the Indonesian archipelago to Northern Sumatra’s isolated Lagundri Bay.

The film, directed by award winning film-maker and photographer, Dustin Humphrey (Sipping Jetstreams, I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night), documents the journey of three young surfers as they make their way north from Sydney to Noosa. Laden with surfboards and camping equipment, the surfers battle the elements as they ride custom motorcycles through floods and rain squalls, finding uncrowded waves along the way. Written and narrated by Harrison Roach, the film showcases the East Coast of Australia’s most iconic surf destinations. Free Jazz Vein is an experimental surf film shot on super 16mm film. In his latest work, Argentinian-born and US-based artist, Tin Ojeda, pursues his ongoing fascination with a vintage, 1970s filmmaking style inspired by period jazz album covers and movie posters. Shot in the USA, Central America, Australia, and Indonesia, the film celebrates surfing exploits while keeping an eye on the darker side of things. Ojeda, who shot and edited the film himself, revels in spectacular scenes of sunsets on the beach, sunlight glinting on foam, and heart-stopping shots of the chiseled bodies of pro surfers gliding through the waves. At the same time, he provides glimpses into the poverty that exists next to the glorious beaches, and hints at political violence simmering just under the surface. Super 16mm film, with its grainy texture, lens flares, and painterly depth of field, lends the film a nostalgic feel, while off-screen dialog and statements keep it in the 'here and now'.
