The dramatisation of a Communist Terrorist assault on a rural Federation of Malaya Police station at Bukit Kepong, Muar, Johor, of then Malaya, on February 23, 1950, during the height of the First Malayan Emergency, 1948-1960.
It deals with Mahmud, a tycoon sawmill married a widow with one son, Zubaidah worked as a restaurant entrepreneur. Baharum, Zubaidah son befriends Mahmud adopted daughter Mira since childhood. As adults, their relationship grew stronger and they loved each other. Maher, a biological child relationship of Mahmud did not think much of it because he feared his father's estate will fall into the hands of both of them.
