Berlin’s notorious Neukoelln district. The near future. A time in which the health system has collapsed. A man works in the shadows and without license as a doctor. He has no practice, no appointments system. He treats people in the courtyards and streets – everywhere he’s needed, stealing medicine from pharmacies. Nobody knows his name or that by day he’s the caretaker of a shabby tenement building. He pushes boundaries and suffers defeats that cost him the last of his strength. Forced to adopt the role of a shadow, an outlaw, he is confronted with the question as to whether he really is a doctor.

The tusk from a mammoth and a whale skeleton are found in a grotesque mix of bricks and destruction - a zoological museum has been blown up. Albert is a sworn pacifist after his experiences in the First World War. Contrary to his beliefs he agrees to act as courier for his brother Edwin, who belongs to a radical communist cell.

The SOKO Köln investigates the cathedral city with humor and often with hard work. Their cases take them into a variety of environments, from the Cologne clique to the terraced housing estates on the outskirts of the city.

Beck is back!

When Binny moves to a new house with her parents in Berlin, the spirit of a fourteen-year-old becomes her roommate. Binny needs to help the ghost in uncovering mysteries about his past and identity.

Practical semester at the Halle/Saale Police College: Finally out of the seminar rooms and into real life - which for the students means: real murder cases. With the support of their trainers in the homicide squad, they will have to solve this. The beginners sometimes overshoot the mark, make mistakes and have to learn new things on their way to becoming fully qualified detectives. In each episode, a case between the university and real life is dissected, discussed and solved, while the private complications of the students, lecturers and trainers are not neglected.
