Bentzi, Momo, and Yuda'leh are three teenage boys growing up in 1950's Israel, which is not much different from 1950's America if you believe what you see in the film. Of course they are obsessed with one thing - sex. Bentzi is interested in the beautiful Nili, but she prefers his friend Momo.

In this English-language Israeli comedy, an old man's son, his son's wife, and a grandson are all killed in an automobile accident. The man believes that his faith requires him to produce a descendant, and to that end he divorces his wife in Religious Court and sets out on a quest for a suitable fertile female.

The story of a woman trying to free her husband from a Russian prison camp. She lives in Israel, organizes strikes, and gains public and press support. But her public life begins to clash with her private life as she falls in love with a Hebrew teacher. This causes tensions in her family and the Israeli Russian community. Her love for the teacher, desire to end her heroic public obligations, and live her own life compose her tragedy.
