Chief Kamel loses his job after an accident. His wife, Widad, works as a secretary for his company's manager. When Kamel suspects his wife's betrayal and divorces her, he leaves with his son to Cairo. Widad marries the manager and the employee Hamdy tries to assault her.

Yusuf Al-Mansi a worker in the railways. During his night shift and near his workplace, a millionaire named Asaad Yakout is hosting a big party to make a deal with a VIP and wants to have his secretary Ghada as condition to get the deal done. The other, who works in the funeral business, spends his life in the pursuit of pleasure because he recognizes that death will bring an end to all enjoyment. They meet and become friends. Through this friendship the water carrier is encouraged to change his morbid way of thinking and to enjoy life.
