Louise Sherrill

A phoney evangelist and his nympho wife buy a house in Los Angeles with plans to turn it into "The Church of Latter Day Sin." However, the house turns out to be haunted--which doesn't stop the wife, who, unbeknownst to her husband, cuts a deal with the Devil.

After her prostitute mother and her john are beaten to death while they are asleep in bed, teen-aged Ellie Masters is sent to an isolated orphanage run by a mysterious woman and her handyman, both whom she comes to suspect are hiding dark secrets.
