Two Kurdish refugees from Iraq, a father and his son are on the run. With hope for a better life for his son, the father is forced to make a challenging sacrifice to provide for him.
Ronja and Maiken are two normal, Norwegian girls. Both are insecure, but expressing it in different ways. When partying one night, their friendship is tested when faced with the darker and more absurd aspects of modern Norway.
