Seitarō Kuroda

The first of many movies featuring the lighthearted adventures of two truck drivers. Momojiro and his best friend Kinzo take to the road on their cargo trucks impressing each other with their skills in driving fast and evading the police while transporting commodities throughout the country. Chance encounters with people along the way help them to come to terms with events clouding their past and offer them a shot at redemption.

George is a washed-up middle-aged punk rocker, who divorces his wife and lives with his girlfriend, a soap massage parlor worker. His life becomes even more of a mess when the nurse he raped moves in with them.

First production by Directors’ Company. The film depicts the lives of a young man with dreams of becoming a rock superstar and his two friends.

A barefoot boy with frightened eyes. He wanders the streets, rides the bus, and wanders the fields without speaking. In the passing landscape, he sees red balloons, deer heads, puddles of blood, the Japanese flag, the Old Testament, an old man...Then, with a gunshot, he collapses. In this film, the boy's closed mind to the outside world is painstakingly portrayed through a variety of images, and his sincere feelings are quietly conveyed.

The man has a monotonous job punching tickets for the Japanese railway. One night, while walking home, he saves Jun from getting raped by two hoodlums. A few days later, he sneaks into her house but gets discovered. Later, as he watches his son subdue an insect with a chemical, the man gets an idea to subdue women while they're sleeping so he won't be discovered sneaking into their home. His new hobby spirals out of control as his confidence grows.
