Kumaran works in a barber shop and is a part-time stage actor. He does not know where his father is. But he must find him when his employer makes that a condition for Kumaran to marry his daughter.
Building contractor Nambiar learns that his spate of bad luck is due to a statue kept at home. He succeeds in transferring his misfortune to his rival, but the statue finds its way back into his life.
