Project manager Kevin returns to his childhood on the island of Sylt on a vacation with his daughter, motivated by closing a big deal there, since his company plans to build luxury apartments on a piece of land.

After 15 years in the USA, a woman in her mid-30s returns to Germany to reconcile with her father, who had broken off contact with her. Before the discussion can take place, the father is murdered. In the course of the investigation, long suppressed secrets come to light.

They decided to make a list of everything than makes up a real love: Romance, desire, passion, jealousy, drama – deep feelings, in other words. Hans and Heinz methodically start checking off their list and realize: Real life is nothing like the movies.

Hanns Zischler embarks on a walk to Canossa in "Prof. Wall in the brothel": A law professor desperately wants to make amends, that through his guilt an outstanding student has broken off and now works as a prostitute. With targeted provocations Emilia Schüle as Aurelie takes apart his self-righteousness. Director Stefan Krohmer focuses on the psycho-duo of the excellent leading actor in his chamber-like staging: The longer the dispute lasts, the more the original balance of power between the prostitute and her unusual client turns upside down.

The local theater in Armstadt has to take a step back; the budget gets cut due to less audience. However, the actors try their best to prepare for a new piece.

Liebe, Pflicht und Hoffnung

Ever since she helped him arrest his archenemy Goran Tonka, "Butsch" has felt responsible for Sandra. Now her roommate is found dead. Killed in a deep cauldron of the old Görlitz yeast factory. What's worrying is that the dead woman is wearing Sandra's jacket and for days she hasn't just been being watched, she's felt threatened. Is Goran Tonka on a vendetta and accidentally caught the wrong woman?

Detective Chief Inspector Sörensen is anxious. More precisely, he suffers from a chronic anxiety disorder that makes life difficult for him. That is why he is moving from Hamburg to the Frisian village of Katenbüll, where he hopes for a more peaceful working life. But that is not how the cookie crumbles. The place is grey and bleak, it rains continuously, and the locals are not very enthusiastic in welcoming him. He also finds his new colleagues, Jenni Holstenbeck and Malte Schuster, somewhat suspect. And then things go from bad to worse. Mayor Hinrichs is found dead in his stables. Sörensen quickly realises that there is a lot of bad blood hidden behind the small town's tranquil facade and some well-founded reasons for anxiety...

The film tells the story of a young woman trapped between her own desires and the expectations of the others.

Kinder der Sonne

Inspector Sörensen has finally retreated to the Frisian province, but he still has to contend with his own inner demons. Loneliness, insomnia and inner restlessness plague him, and although he does everything he can to stop taking his medication for the anxiety disorder, he remains trapped in his psychological torment. One dark night he almost runs over a young, disturbed woman on the country road. She is malnourished, wears only a nightgown and is blind. After she finally reveals her identity to Sörensen, a web of murder, religious madness and well-kept secrets begins to unfold before him. Sörensen is overwhelmed, not only by the shocking situation, but also by his own demons, which are gaining power over him again. The villagers reject him, and as fear takes hold of him again, he will soon realize that it won't just be a corpse.

Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.
