This is a film about a young boy, that is helped by a ghost, to reunite with his separated parents.

In order to pay off a massive debt, a gambling addict sells his ancestral home to a young couple, who soon discover that the building is haunted by the vengeful spirits of a murdered family.

The spirit of a deceased conjoined twin haunts her unknowing sister.

Chen is a dedicated social worker who has allowed her job to dominate her personal life. Inadvertently, she neglects her devoted husband Lo-Wei and their young son. Although he dislikes his wife's patients ("they're just street trash"), Lo-Wei is tolerant of his wife's workaholic situation and he takes the opportunity to develop a strong unity with his son, Chia-Pu. Then, Lo-Wei's sister offers to babysit the child while the parents respond to an emergency case. While they're gone, one of Chen's "delinquents" breaks into the house and rapes the sister. During the assault, baby Chia-Pu climbs out of the window and falls to his death. Lo-Wei is over-the-edge with grief. His brain snaps. He withdraws into himself, except at night when he stalks the "street trash," gruesomly killing them...

Brandon plays Brandon Ma, a regular working Joe who holds down two jobs, so he can support his girlfriend May and his dream of owning a motorcycle. Brandon's best friend is Michael, an ambitious and murderous dope peddler. Michael covets May and so he comes up with a plan that will win her for him, and solves a problem he's been having. It seems that an undercover cop named Sharky has been using his police connections to dominate the local cocaine trade, so Michael has him killed and uses Brandon as the fall guy. Brandon goes to jail, though he thinks that he will be released soon thanks to the efforts of his good buddy Michael. Eight years later Brandon finally gets out of jail and vows revenge.
