At the end of the 21st century, the dead are walking the earth. Four survivors try to escape the zombies. They hide in an old house. Will they survive?

A Swedish village in the 18th Century: the seemingly idyll is disturbed by a group of soldiers they appear to beware their heavily injured comrade from death. Despite of first hospitality the arrivals notice that the villagers are not only devout, it seems that they hide a dark secret. As the mysterious events become more frequent, the suspicion stays inevitable: some villagers seem to believe in another God.

"...and when the song of the birds falls silent, you close your eyes forever" This is how young Chiara knows it from the story her mother once told her. A story that also haunts her when she wakes up in the hospital after a suicide attempt. For the raven visits her every night, as she tells her closest confidant. And this man, too, soon finds himself drawn into a mysterious world that, in a strange way, also seems to be linked to his own story. A story that could have taken different paths for all involved, as is to be seen...

Two criminals, one wounded, decide on a home invasion in order to perform a bullet-extraction surgery with a fork on themselves. The owner of the home turns out to be a writer of gory stories, who soon shares his ideas with the criminals.
