A gathering of friends is thrown into chaos by the opening of a mysterious fiery sinkhole near their secluded holiday home.
Trapped in their office by a baying crowd from all religious backgrounds, a group of filmmakers contemplate a fictional short film they have made disproving the existence of God. As the crowd outside intensifies they wonder if it is just a film or maybe something much more important.
A gang of desperate criminals seek refuge in what appears to be a perfectly ordinary house - but discover it houses something much more sinister, and much more otherworldly, than they'd initially thought...
