Each act takes place in a different period of flux in mores and attitudes towards sex, religion, sexual orientation and race, and each potential marriage represents people struggling with the new ways of being.

A homeowner rents out his Malibu house to a vast array of guests and through hidden security cameras, spies on them for his personal entertainment. The anthology follows various renters, who are all unaware that they are being mocked.
