A Man in Our House is a 1961 Egyptian film about the resistance to British rule in Egypt which ended in the exile of King Farouk in 1954 and the rise to power of Gamal Abdel Nasser.

Exploiting the great resemblance between Ashour El-Aaghati and actor Farid Shawky, director Mahmoud Al-Badrawi decides to use him in many scenes. At the same time, Ashour relates to his neighbor Najat and decides to marry despite all the attempts of the master, the owner of the cafe, to stand in the way of their love. At the same time, a painful accident occurs to the artist Farid, leading to his death, and director Mahmoud decides to use Ashour as an alternative, declaring that the actor will not die.

Gharbawi Bey, owner of a fishing fleet in the Abi Qir area of Alexandria, is in fact a smuggler who is monitored by the detective and recruited for him by the only officer who disguises himself as Dr. Fathi, trying to get close to Leila, the smuggler's daughter, according to the plan set forth by the chief of the detective.

A young employee prepares to travel to Alexandria to work as a singer in one of its clubs, but his friends take him to Ras El Bar, and in the summer resort he meets a young woman who made him stop traveling, as he caught a cold while trying to save her from drowning. She had pretended that she was about to drown, and a very fast love developed between them. And her uncle sees them.

An athletic young man falls for a beautiful woman with a troubled brother. Handsome Yehia (Hafez) may come from a troubled background, but he's always strived to make the best of his life. When Yehia falls for the beautiful Samia (Iman), he believes he has finally found the woman with whom he could spend the rest of his life. Trouble soon arises, however, when Samia's delinquent stepbrother begins doing everything in his power to sabotage the couple's relationship.

The film's events take place in a comedic context, as Fatima (Faten Hamama) opens a law office. Rabi'a al-Adawiyya is a classic film from 1963 based on the life of the early Sufi saint and poet Rabi'a al-Adawiyya, also known as Rabi'a al Basri, in the second Islamic century.

The story of a family torn apart; the son goes to prison instead of his father for drug trafficking. While the other son marries a bad- tempered woman who abuses her mother-in-law forcing her to flee to work as a maid at a hospital.
