When the Soviets impose new ways of collective farming and permanent settlements on a region of nomadic dwellers, young Ilyas is separated from his mother, Mariam. Through decades of war, mother and son persevere in their efforts to be reunited.

Sayan has survived the accident but 10 years later the past comes after him.

The young director struggles unsuccessfully to find funding for his debut film. Desperate, he goes to work as a director for a small children's TV project. Once on the set, he realizes that it is possible to make an inexpensive film here. All that is needed is to persuade the group and the actors to help him.

After living across the border for a while Maksat goes back to home village to accept inheritance that left grandpa. Maksat is about to face unexpected surprises because life abroad has completely changed him.
