Alex, an idealistic young assassin, is seen leaving the scene of the crime by a witness, a grave mistake in the eyes of the organisation for which he works. The film is set in Cagliari, Sardinia, in a fantasy world where the political leader has absolute power. In this fantasy world, a group of gays, lesbians and transgenders kidnaps the despotic leader and demands a ransom for his release. But can those who have lived in total hypocrisy, who have made lying the key to their success, ever really be sincere?
