Indie-pop London quartet Bastille closed out Reading Festival 2019 with a dazzling headline set on the BBC R1 Stage. The band quickly gained huge amounts of widespread praise and popularity after their debut album ‘Bad Blood’ was released way back in the vintage days of 2013. Since then, they’ve gained international superstar status, with their 80s-synth pop-influenced tracks giving us all the feels.

Bastille are an English rock band formed in London in 2010. Bastille began as a solo project by singer-songwriter Dan Smith, who later decided to form a band. The name of the band derives from Bastille Day – an event celebrated on Daniel Smith's birthday, 14 July.

Each week celebrity guests join Irish comedian Graham Norton to discuss what's being going on around the world that week. The guests poke fun and share their opinions on the main news stories. Graham is often joined by a band or artist to play the show out.
