In a field surrounded and squeezed by increasing industrialization, an immigrant family, deep in financial debt, struggles to survive through traditional farming. Their son, Ibrahim, dreams of a different future for himself.
Retired engineer Refik provides funds for his Syrian caregiver, Nesrin, to flee Europe with her sons. Nesrin leaves her children with him and disappears. As Eid approaches, Refik grow despondent about Nesrin's whereabouts, while he and his children ensnared in disparate lives find themselves unable to avoid hurting one another.
