When the alternative rock band Los Pijamistas agrees to play at Suena Caracas 2016, a propaganda festival organized by the Nicolás Maduro regime, the patience of guitarist and singer Andrés Bravo reaches a limit. He leaves the band and starts his solo project from scratch. The severe symptoms of the crisis and an alienated environment will break his armor. However, he will not be alone: The Beasts, two masked and mysterious beings, will accompany him along the way.

On the border of Venezuela with Colombia, during the late 80's, two men survive an armed assault near the Arauca River, in which fourteen of their companions end up dead. The Army accuses them of being guerrilla fighters and tries via intimidation to seize them from the cell where they are being watched over by the local police officer and by the entire village. They say they are simple fishermen, but pressure to yield to the official version is overwhelming.

On April 11th of 2002 a coup d'état against the venezuelan president Hugo Chávez Frías kept the country in a state of total uncertainty regarding his whereabouts, two days later he returned to power. This is a chronicle of those days.

PEPE (35) and BECA (30), he is an innkeeper and she a singer, are diagnosed with leukemia. Both are treated at Hope Hospital, a hospital in the City of Miami. Pepe has the support of his brother MANUEL, BECA has a difficult relationship with his mother MARIA ELENA. In the search for a cure, they fall in love and are transformed by the various romantic, comical and painful situations they face. It is through humor and love that they discover the way to feel good in spite of their illness. Pepe tries to hide his social status, Rebeca will find new struggles as a result of this love, which will lead her to face a difficult decision. Pepe is not only afraid of not being able to finish the treatment, he is afraid of losing Rebeca forever.
