Two women in neighboring apartments live very different and at the same time very similar lives. The young student Klairi and the middle-aged Danai, seek in each other's company a means to escape their anxieties. At first they're just using each other but eventually they are challenged through a dark and dramatic climax to really open up and come truly close.

Trapped in the misery of an oppressive marriage, a middle-aged woman finds refuge in a fantasy world of vindictive violence. Soon, reality and fantasy start to blur.

Young Dimitris, on the verge of manhood yet very much a child, has romanticized his imprisoned father to mythic proportions. When he gets released after ten years, Dimitris cannot wait to finally know him and make up for lost time. But when his father reveals his true nature, Dimitris must face a great dilemma: will his need of belonging prevail over his sense of justice?
