Biography

Mark Coffey is a Scottish professional wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), performing on their NXT UK brand. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Before becoming a wrestler, Coffey played rugby for Glasgow Warriors' academy team. He began his wrestling career in 2007, training under Scottish wrestler Damian O'Connor. Coffey competed on the Scottish independent wrestling circuit under the ring name Mark Dallas before adopting the ring name Mark Coffey in 2013. Coffey gained national recognition when he appeared on the first season of the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament in 2017. He advanced to the second round before being defeated by Pete Dunne. Later that year, Coffey signed with WWE and became a regular on their NXT UK brand. Throughout his career, Coffey has held several championships. He is a one-time Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) World Heavyweight Champion, a two-time ICW Tag Team Champion, and a one-time Scottish Wrestling Alliance (SWA) Laird of the Ring Champion. He also held the WWE NXT UK Tag Team Championship twice with his partner Wolfgang as part of the stable Gallus.
