One day, he went to a club (three-not-three) function at Ranaghat. At the function he met Sikha. Sikha needed 30,000 rupees immediately to repay the loan taken by her brother for getting a job from Chanu Bose who was the son of the local Panchayat who had given them a year time to repay the loan otherwise he would marry Sikha whereas Pradip needed an immediate job.

A middle-class family struggle to make ends meet. Their only hope is their son Rana who always fights injustice which lands him a job in the police force and takes care of the family.

Eldest brother brings up the orphaned brother single handed along with his (later) second wife's child-widow cousin. When they grow up and marry, the new wives break the family, will it rejoin? At what cost?

Sexy Sunita, who hails from a rich family, is mesmerised by Gopal's music. Their interactions over time compel them to believe they were lovers in their past lives.
