Malhação is a Brazilian television series for the teenage audience. The soap started in 1995, and was set in a fictional Gym Club called Malhação on Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Through the years the location varied slightly. Although the name of the soap remains the same, it is now set in the Múltipla Escolha High School.

Santos Dumont's daughter, Marisa Dumont, known as Zazá, flies over the Eiffel Tower in a replica of the 14 Bis. During one of her flights, she decides to find guardian angels to protect her seven children.
The series surrounds the damaged relationship between a saxophonist and a woman who falls in love for a former boyfriend, whom she had left to marry him.
