When Iris moves in to her new home, she wants to get to know her neighbors. The fact that she's sick and is not allowed to go outside won't stop her. She notices the old lady Elsie. They could tell each other all kinds of things, if only they had a way of communicating. Perhaps the mailman is the solution to her problem.
Two girls arrive at an empty meeting hall. One of the girls climbs up of a rope hanging down from the ceiling. As she slides down towards the floor, the rope is transformed into a small, maybe unintentional, sexual experience.
