Biography
Pedro Dias Lemos is a Brazilian actor and filmmaker born in Rio de Janeiro on February 27, 1997. In 2018, he graduated with a Bachelor of Social , Communication - Radio and TV from the School of Communication at UFRJ. In 2023, he completed the professional course for actors at CAL - Casa das Artes de Laranjeiras.
As a freelance filmmaker, in 2022, Pedro directed the 2nd season of the web series "Cidadão Não, Ator". For this work, he was nominated for Best Comedy Directing at the Rio Webfest. The series was also nominated for Best Comedy and Best Brazilian Series. In the same year, Pedro directed the music video "Única", by singer Ingrid Manzini, and in 2023 he directed "Olho no Olho", by Tziu feat. Yanick Jannotti.
In 2022, he was camera operator in the feature film "Alarme Silencioso", directed by Ricardo Favilla and cinematography by Cleumo Segond.
Between 2019 and 2022, he occasionally contributed as a screenwriter and actor to the YouTube channel Parafernalha.
In theater, he was part of the cast of "The Hours" (Jun/2023), directed by Menelick de Carvalho, "Angels in America" (Dec/2022), directed by Anna Helena Madruga, and "Nunca é Tarde/A Escada" (Jul/2022), directed by David Herman, all three at CAL. In 2019, he participated in the FENF - Festival de Esquetes de Nova Friburgo with the scene "Vôo", which won Best Text and Best Sketch. Some workshops and acting courses he has taken are: Tools for the Actor (2021), by director Anderson Aníbal; Studies on Hamlet (April 2023), by Cia. Teatro Esplendor, with director Bruce Gomlevsky; Gesture Training with Cia. Dos à Deux (April 2023).
