Wen Hong, who was released after serving his sentence, returned to the city where he used to live, but the city and people he used to live in made him feel very strange. The reason why he was imprisoned was because he participated in a parade many years ago. He accidentally killed his companion, and he was determined to give an explanation to his companion's family, but when he actually faced them, he hesitated.

A writer who has not written for years is looking for a tenant to share a spare room in his house. One day, an actor comes to rent the room. His clear and innocent eyes have evoked the writer's interest. When the writer finds out that the daily life of the actor is a performance in itself, he begins to refer the new tenant as the blueprint of his novel.

Ah Fat, a lonely man arrives in a strange country, escaping from his past and seeking salvation. Living in a constant state of psychological turmoil, redemption was never quite in reach. Making friends with Miumiu, a coworker who is a gogo girl and a male gigolo Pumpkin turns Ah Fat's life around; he finds a strange, unique sort of happiness in friendship that had evaded him for a long time. Then comes a turn of events that changes everything; Ah Fat will have to choose between saving his friends by killing the evil shop owner, and standing idly by. This is the final straw; Ah Fat is pushed to the brink, all hell breaks loose...

"Years of Macau" is an anthology film consisting of nine short films set in different years and locations in Macau. They include "Go Back Home", "REC-Last Days", "Sparkling Mind", "The Last Show", "Till the End of World", "The First Cigarette", "A Moment", "Dirty Laundry" and "Summer". All nine directors are from Macau, most of whom were born and raised here. The stories of each film share what the directors feel about Macau using the language of cinema to convey their love for the city.

Youngsters Gassi, Lily and Sun are in a concert when they meet Yoko, Sun’s ex-girlfriend. Together, they spend their days getting drunk, crying out their depressions in a subtle but destructive way. As Gassi breaks up with his girlfriend, he will get a chance to get along with Yoko. Shocked by the sudden change, Sun releases his anger, by taking revenge against Yoko.

Within moments of silence, tense and uncomfortability, a pair of brothers re-started their long overdue conversation before the younger has to face the diagnostic report of his illness.

In a mysterious clinic, a young man is prescribed an eye treatment after failing a sight test. As he begins to question the whole situation, the protagonist is forced to undergo a sequence of unimaginable therapeutic procedures.
