High school student Yuki suffers from a chronic disease and has lost hope for living. One day she has a life-changing encounter with Aki, her destructive classmate with a beautiful singing voice. Together they decide to form a band with Yusuke who secretly has feelings for Yuki.
A female duo band Haruleo hires a handsome roadie Shima. Contrary to their success, adding a male third wheel leads them to the love-triangle, bringing unexpected fights among them though they care for each other deeply. The three set out on a road trip for their final tour after deciding the break-up of the unit. As they travel across the country, they realize the scars they created to each other can be only healed on the stage.
In the spring of a new semester, a "ranking" is sent to Class 2-D. It clearly shows the rankings of all the students and the homeroom teacher. The one who ranks 1st is Himeyama Tsubaki, a kind and popular honor student recognized by everyone. But one day, without any warning, she commits suicide. A few days later, everyone in the class receives a suicide note from Himeyama, and from that day on, the class begins to fall apart.
