In Occupied Athens, a German woman, the wife of a Greek officer, falls in love with a teenage Jewish ice cream vendor. Love becomes fate: the woman dies and is reborn, living two lives in a world that is rapidly changing.
Through his imagination a writer makes a journey that goes from erotic fantasies to patricide, castration and death. At the end of this mental wandering, he will manage to emerge ready to write his work.
