Subramaniam, a lawyer is married to Kokila and has a daughter. Things go well until he meets Kamini, a movie star in a party. He gets attracted towards Kamini and becomes ready to sacrifice his own family for her. Kokila's efforts in bringing back her husband forms the rest of the story.

Sekhar is separated from his twin, Anand, after getting abducted and grows up to be a criminal. When Sekhar is injured in an encounter, the police ask Anand to impersonate him and bring down his gang.

Parthiban, a young executive, sees a woman at a bus-stop and quickly falls head over heels in love with her after he finds remarkable similarities in their two personalities. He is then cajoled into "checking out" a girl for an arranged marriage, which he does reluctantly, only to find that she is the girl he secretly admires. Elated, he agrees to the marriage. A bizarre twist follows immediately after.

Oruvan is a 1999 Tamil language film directed by Suresh Krishna. The film features Sarathkumar and Pooja Batra in lead roles whilst Devayani, Raghuvaran and Anandaraj play supporting roles. The film was a remake of director's own Telugu film Auto Driver starring Nagarjuna.
