An undocumented immigrant, Roberto, seeks a way to become lawful, but all efforts are put on hold when he becomes a new father at the onset of the US government's 'Zero Tolerance' child separation policy at the US / Mexico border.
Based on a true story, the film follows Oscar, a sixteen-year-old from Oak Cliff who can see the dead. After a botched car theft, Oscar must rescue his friend Ducky from the bloodthirsty gangs that roam the streets and the roaming dead.
