Ray Gosling

1979 documentary profiling the town and residents of Maryport, Cumbria, England.

A BAFTA award nominated film tracing the development and usage of the documentary photograph through the work of three practitioners: Humphrey Spender, Derek Smith and Jimmy Forsyth.

Ray Gosling and Nick Broomfield spent three weeks in the hospital filming a documentary for Granada Television, broadcast on ITV on 26 August 1975.

Ray Gosling and a group of Urban Explorers around Whittingham Hospital near Preston, Lancashire. One of the group was a former patient, and Ray himself spent some time there for a television programme he made with Nick Broomfield in the 1970's. Featuring interviews with former staff and clips from the original Granada television series 'Goslings Travels'.
