El Caballo
Alina, Luisa and América are three women who after fighting to restore and stabilize democracy to their country realize they’ve been betrayed by the leader of the revolution. The three women begin to confront and challenge the new system in their own ways and for different reasons they find themselves jailed.
During a driving lesson, two Cuban siblings: a newly arrived trans woman (Lola Bosch) and her estranged conservative brother (Ariel Texidó), face each other for the first time in years, with Miami passing silently outside the windows.
Two young cousins are tasked with the simple chore of picking up their estranged uncle from the hospital and dropping him off at their grandmother's house, all of which turns into a full day's affair, culminating in a treasure-hunt in the Florida Everglades where new family perspectives are discovered.
