The animation tells the story of Luana, a girl who is passionate about animals and lives in the countryside of São Paulo. After witnessing her friend Quiquinho, a small capuchin monkey, being captured by smugglers, Luana turns to her grandmother's tales about the legend of Caipora to save him.
Nora is filming a short film at college with her group until she argues with her friend and decides to take the stairs to meet them on the next floor. When she sees that the floors are not changing, she starts to go down the stairs in despair until a vision of her grandfather comforts her and directs her the way back.
