The events take place in Kuwait in the 1940s before the advent of oil, and the story of a shy love in the conservative society between Mary and Khalifa, and the obstacles they face.

The events of the series revolve around a miserly man who is married and has a sister who lives with him in the same house, and he has a son who plays in a club. (Bo Habash) works in a clothing store, and he pressures customers to buy from him and not from the neighboring stores, so he sometimes reduces prices to keep away Customers from other stores, one of the customers set him up and stole his money after he convinced him to give him his money to achieve greater gains, and after the police returned this money to him and for fear that it would be stolen, he hid them in the car, but his son Habbash steals the car and makes an accident and the car burns with the money.

In a comedy context, the series revolves around Abu Shamlan, who lives with his family in a new house, always helps people and provides services to them free, so his wife (Umm Shamlan) complains about this matter.

As part of the drama, the work deals with the character of a snirror, a person who is interested in planting and selling the basil plant, and things go normally until he hits people who rent his house and try to defraud him and implicate him in many failed projects.

Salha is divorced from her cousin Abdul Rahman. Despite their divorce, he lives with her in the same government house and has another wife. As Salha owns half of the house, he cannot sell it without her consent. Many funny situations occur between them because of her jealousy of her ex-husband’s wife.
