After a chance encounter with a wanted man, a woman is harassed by the police and press until she takes violent action.

Pepe Notnagel (who inexplicably had his name changed from the first movie's Nietnagel) and his classmates scheme to get around doing any actual school work by cheating or sending their teachers to the sanatorium. A Swiss documentary film maker disguises himself as his brother in law, who got a position as an exchange teacher, to aid his project of making a movie about the current youth.

Driving instructor Carola "Charley" can no longer stand the constant advances of her pupils and quits her job without further ado. The plot revolves around a fictional opera production that spirals into absurdity as egos clash, misunderstandings abound, and everything goes hilariously wrong. Through a series of farcical and exaggerated situations, Loriot brilliantly mocks the pomp and circumstance of opera while showcasing his signature dry humor and love for absurdity. Noch 'ne Oper is a sharp and witty satire of high culture’s often ridiculous nature.
