The film, adapted from Ahmet Harndi Tanpınar's story of the same name, tells the story of a traveling theater troupe that travels from city to city. The story takes place on a train during World War II. The train windows are blacked out to avoid detection.
Murat is a charismatic political prisoner in Malatya. He is well respected by both inmates and prison officers. There he meets two women: Tozey, a famous prostitute, and Hanim, a defenseless woman accused of murdering her husband.
Yusuf leads a poor but peaceful life with his grandfather running coffee on the Golden Horn. Dedesin told him that the sultan’s sultan was influenced by the story of Şahmaran. Dusesi is also the old treasure hunter, Yusuf’s dream world has developed quite a bit.
