Biography
Shaheen Bano, professionally known as Zeba, is a retired Pakistani actress who worked predominantly in Urdu films. She was among the top stars of the Pakistani film industry in the 1960s and the early 1970s. During a career that spanned almost three decades, Zeba appeared in numerous commercially successful as well as critically appreciated films, many of which featured her alongside actor and husband Mohammad Ali. When she retired in 1989, she had worked with a total of 45 directors. She was given the Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Crescent of Excellence) Award by the Pakistani government for her contribution in the field of cinema in 2016.
