The story of a refugee from Kazakhstan who in the spring of 2022 saved hundreds of Ukrainians in Bucha and other cities and towns occupied by Russian troops.

Future border guards from different parts of Ukraine and for various reasons join the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Someone continues the family tradition, someone does it for the company with a school friend, and someone made such a decision after completing the military service. The cadets' mentor, Ivan Krynytskyi, makes real combat officers out of yesterday's "street punks" according to his own methodology.

Vera (16), a girl from a regular family, unwillingly gets into a private school where children of rich and high-profile parents study.
