Three siblings, Sofie, Jonas and Emma, move to Copenhagen when their father is appointed a job at the National Museum. One day, the ancient Norse gods, Loki, Thor and Heimdal, materialize to prevent the museum's legendary golden horns from falling into the wrong hands and threatening the human race with extinction. Because the divine powers of the gods aren't too efficient in a modern, hi-tech world, the kids step in and come to their rescue.

To the mentally ill Kriss, the world is divided up into 'good and evil', just like in the old B&W melodrama, 'Pure Hearts', which Kriss and his fellow patient, Willy, spend their days repeatedly watching at the psychiatric ward. Setting fire to the hospital, Kriss and Willy escape into the night, determined to find her, because life is what you make of it.

The Snooks (singular!) derives his name from the Danish expression "leaving the Snooks behind" much used by 7-year-old Eigil's parents to indicate somebody's going nuts. This being a live action-cum-puppet animation film, Eigil's own imagination turns the Snooks into an amiable gnome-like little fellow and best friend during a summer holiday. The Killing is a Danish police procedural set in the Copenhagen main police department and revolves around Detective Inspector Sarah Lund and her team, with each season series following a different murder case day-by-day and a one-hour episode covering twenty-four hours of the investigation. The series is noted for its plot twists, season-long storylines, dark tone and for giving equal emphasis to the story of the murdered victim's family alongside the police investigation. It has also been singled out for the photography of its Danish setting, and for the acting ability of its cast.

The Eagle: A Crime Odyssey is a Danish police procedural television series produced by Danmarks Radio, created and written by Peter Thorsboe and Mai Brostrøm. The series debuted on 10 October 2004 in Denmark. It won an International Emmy Award from the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for best non-American television drama series in 2005. There were three seasons; the second season premiered in Denmark on 9 October 2005 and the third on 8 October 2006. The last episode originally aired in Denmark on 26 November 2006. It first aired in the December 2005 on TV 2 Denmark television station, on TV 2 Norway in December 2006 and in December 2007 on the Swedish Barnkanalen. In 2008 it is being aired in Finland on Yle2. As a television advent calendar, it has 24 episodes, and one new episode was aired per day from December 1 to December 24. Jul i Valhal is primarily about two children named Jonas and Sofie, and their adventures with the Norse gods.
