Salama owns a nightclub and is married to the dancer, Samira. He hides the truth about his work from his daughter Manal, who lives in Alexandria. Manal meets Alaa who works for the UN and they agree to marry. When Alaa finds out what Salama does for a living, his father disapproves their marriage.
Three women, a doctor, a lawyer, and a farmer from Upper Egypt, each with a story, are wrongly accused and all sentenced to prison. But they decide to escape so that the peasant woman gives birth to her son outside the prison walls.
