Lenita - Traces of a Lady
Adaptation of the successful Brazilian TV series "Beto Rockefeller". Beto is a cunning poor man who pretends to be rich, using his congeniality and lack of morals to mix among rich people.
Raul, a playboy, marries Sheila and hire Nina, a photographer, to take erotic snapshots of his wife. Nina acquires an interest on Sheila, and through a maid, investigates the couple's intimate life.
After a fall, intelligent young Plácido becomes a little slow. As an adult he works at a bank and his keen intelligence returns when he drinks the soft drink "Super Plá". Other side stories include the love relationship between Baby Stompanato and Joana Martini, and the life of Majô Prado, a neurotic millionairess and prominent personality living in São Paulo.
Beto Rockfeller is a Brazilian telenovela produced by TV Tupi and aired from November 4, 1968 to November 30, 1969. It was created by Cassiano Gabus Mendes, written by Bráulio Pedroso and directed by Lima Duarte and Walter Avancini.
