Odd is a social satire about feeling inadequate in what one considers to be their home. Rather than imposing certain views on the audience, the film offers thought-provoking look at co-existence of Christian minority within largely Islamic society in Cairo as seen through the eyes of an individual.
The film revolves around a romantic romantic comedy in which Doctor Hazem (Ahmed El Sakka), a gynecologist who is concerned with his unique decorator (Dora), is stunned by his inability to conceive and has to resort to vaginal injection.
A wealthy businessman and a businesswoman face financial ruin during an economic crisis. As they try to recover, a comedic romance develops between them.
