Biography
Nova Duarte Martinez is a Lesbian Filmmaker currently studying cinema at City College of San Francisco. Born in the Mat-Su Valley in Alaska to an a Brazilian Mother and a father who hitchhiked from New Jersey, she grew up very isolated, but was raised in a home where many stories were told and her imagination had room to flourish. Cinema always came back to her as the artistic medium which spoke to her the most.
