Within a ghost city known as 'The Void' there is a saying: "if you stare into the void, the void stares back." Within the city lives Ricky Carter, a disillusioned author who's world collides when he crosses paths with a masked vigilante and a charismatic ex-convict scheming to take down a Doomsday Cult before they plunge their city into an eternal darkness. As Ricky stares into the void, he notices the void blink.
