In the 1987 underbelly of Portland's contaminated, trash-filled streets, a working-call clerk fights for her life against a horde of giant, man-eating mutant rats while trying to maintain her dignity at the hopeless Maxi-Mart.
During his daily commute, a man finds himself stuck in a rut, hiding from the world behind the safety of his Polaroid camera and his street-photography obsession. It isn't until he misses the chance to meet someone special when he learns he must leave his shell and is forced to understand cherishing even the smallest moments in life.
