While a serial killer is on the loose in Mexico City during the spring, a man in love walks the streets and is approached by a strange flower vendor who tries to persuade him to buy a bouquet for his girlfriend. After being persuaded and buying the bouquet, the man encounters a woman who appears to be his beloved.

Talented designer Ana Velázquez arrives at Velvet and falls in love with Alberto Márquez, heir to the company, but their love must overcome many intrigues, including a marriage of convenience.
