White Eyes is a story of family and how it can free us from feeling trapped in our own loneliness. The boy and the orca mirror each other in their feelings of isolation and their search for companionship. When do they find it? What happens when they do? Perhaps they won’t know until they meet.
In the “This is the Last Chance”, it begins with the main character looking over the cliff, which also signifies his negativity of falling off the edge as it is his last chance. It shifts to positivity as he stands up looking at the sunset beyond the cliff. It reminds him of the text that he received from his mother explaining that a “last time” is simply another moment. The director presents the theme of the “last chance” in a comedic, relatable way that helps it connect with the audience.
After the death of his Master Sigma, a gooner named Gian seeks vengeance on the ancient villain, the Ohio King. On his journey Gian will discover truth, friends, and where he lies in the mind of his fallen Master.
