After losing his wife Jessie in an attack by Scarface and his gang, John Musgrave is consumed by grief and rage. When an old friend, Chris, arrives at his farm with news that Scarface is hiding in a nearby forest, John sees only one path forward — revenge. The story follows a Deaf woman who feels isolated at university, struggling to connect with peers due to the language barrier, despite having close friendships outside of school. She faces challenges in making new friends in a hearing world where sign language is not widely understood.
